Indoor and outdoor sirens for visual and acoustic alarming.

The U-Prox wireless sirens are the loud statement of your alarm system — they deter burglars and alert residents and neighbours. Available as indoor siren (compact, for living spaces) and outdoor siren (weatherproof, with strobe light for visual alarming).

Indoor vs. outdoor siren

Indoor siren: loud sound output (105 dB), placed in living spaces — deters burglars who have already entered and wakes residents. Outdoor siren: weatherproof form (IP55), combines high volume with strobe light — neighbours see from afar that something is wrong. With monitoring centre connection the outdoor siren additionally provides visual indication for arriving patrol cars.

Tamper protection

Both siren models have tamper protection — an attempt to break open the siren or tear it from the wall immediately triggers full alarm. The outdoor siren additionally has protection against spraying with foam (common manipulation attempt). Backup battery in each siren — works even if power supply is cut.

How many sirens make sense?

Standard recommendation: 1 indoor siren in living area (for resident alerting) plus 1 outdoor siren visibly on the facade (deterrent + neighbour alerting). For larger properties: additional indoor sirens per floor and an outdoor siren on the back of the house (against break-in through back door/garden).
