PIR motion detector with 12 m range, optionally with photo verification.
The U-Prox PIR motion detector reliably detects movement up to 12 m distance with a detection angle of 88°. Available for indoor and outdoor use, with optional photo verification via integrated camera (sends up to 3 images on alarm to your app and/or the monitoring centre within 9 seconds).
Which models exist
Three variants: Indoor PIR (classic motion detector for indoor use, pet-immune up to 25 kg), Outdoor PIR (weatherproof IP55, with enhanced logic against false alarms from animals, wind and rain), PIR with camera (indoor variant with photo verification — on every alarm 3 images are sent to the app).
What photo verification brings
On an alarm you open the app and immediately see whether it’s a real break-in or your forgotten cat. Equally important: with monitoring centre connection the centre can verify the alarm via the images. Photo-verified alarms are prioritised by police emergency systems — the police respond faster when they know it’s not a false alarm.
Range and radio connection
Like all U-Prox devices: up to 4,800 m radio range to the hub in free field, with two-way acknowledgement. Battery life: 5–7 years with the pre-installed lithium cell. For the photo model somewhat shorter (3–4 years, depending on trigger frequency).
